You should be able to find XP version drivers from for the chip-set, video and perhaps the touchpad from the chip manufactures driver download page. From there, you need to hunt down each device driver you need. If you need to run XP on your notebook, you should research before you buy one and make sure that you can get XP drivers for all of the critical hardware. I suggest you check Gateway website first.

Occurred to me just now that this laptop looks cp a “Media Center Edition” laptop, only it shipped with Vista. From what I can gather, Hotstart is for the hotkey buttons on the laptop.
