CME UF MIDI KEYBOARD DRIVER

UF series master keyboard all use after touch and velocity sensitive keys, featuring the breath control interface and sit in a metallic body with cool silver color, at the first moment you touch UF keyboard, you will fall in love with it. The USB is slower statement is quite mad. Generally speaking it is an ok midi keyboard but the drivers are awful. Are you using it with Windows or a Mac? I didn’t like the velocity curves that much either. Other than that, I have no idea. The first one linear was best to me but it really required you to bash the keys to get the highest values.

On the CME board others have said that they have encountered the same problem. Sold my UF6 recently. What do you think?

Undoubtedly the most attractive looking UF keyboard so far, the Classic series has an all-black finish, with the end pieces finished in tough black shellac – just like a traditional piano. I’d like to see more measuring how easy it is to get something to do accurately than whether or not it “feels good” to a reviewer.

By listening to the feedback from their users, CME provides the features which their users want. Generally speaking it is an ok midi keyboard but the drivers are awful.

Maybe the driver is better on one OS.

The first one linear was best to me but it really required you to bash the keys to get the highest values. I assume it came with adjustable velocity curves and you tried them all? I didn’t like the velocity curves that much either.

Very nice for synth stuff but for piano it behaved strangely at times, like pressing the key softly could result in a high velocity or velocity 1 keybard sound. The keybed frame is manufactured in iron to reduce the risk of twisting or distortion, and an aluminium upper casing in aluminum gives strength with minimal weight increase.

UF60 Classic – 61 keys – Dimension x x mm – Weight 9.

Hammer action grand piano weighted. I sure would like to see you play faster than the transfer rate of the USB connection. I played one at the story and liked the keyboard feel, and the Sound on Sound review is very positive even to the point of the reviewer buying one himselfbut as you mention there is a lot of bad feedback about the product on the web.

If you want accurate velocity response then, in general, I think hammer action is probably a better bet. I actually tested this by setting it to record on a MIDI track in Sonar and then just tried pressing the same key over and over again at the same velocity as best as I could. Originally posted by P I assume it came with adjustable velocity curves and you tried them all? I had no issues with the drivers on WinXP but found that the velocity on the keyboard was weird.
