e1000 nic driver issue with centos 6.6
To build cenots module is needed kernel-devel package and its dependencies. If You keep vanilla kernel, then module must be build against its sources. Do you already have an account?
This machine has a supermicro X5DA8 motherboard with dual xeons, an onboard gigabit card, and an additional gigabit card we’ve put in it centls on two network simultaneously. But, been having an issue with public network working due to apparently, NIC driver issue with SM boards and Centos 6.
linux – CentOS: e is shown as FIBER port, but it must be MII – Server Fault
Sign up using Email and Password. But it still booted into Centos? If needed, i can install it back. Email Required, but never shown. If it did not install it is most likely due to yum trying to install cetnos that it can’t get with no internet access – you should see that in the yum output.
