Does this PXA includes features of the Premium drive? This seems to work the best. Yeah i saw that about your fan. The 2nd case you list does not say that it is a 30 chipset so it may well be an Oxford or with Ali USB chip We know the Ali chip causes problems, never tried the though.

However it does work with my PX This is my first experience with Plextor after hearing SO bjtecc good things about them. I guess you said as much when you mentioned the Sony burner. Shame its more expensive. Putting the hard disk in a different enclosure did the trick.
