I had trouble on the front nine getting the ball in the air. I added at lesats 30 yards as compared to my previous driver. Everyone told me to get the “long tees” because of the cc frame, and the need to have the ball teed up. Moving weight has been quite the buzz in drivers these past few years.

This and positioning of the internal weights aim to give the Tour model a lower ball flight with little or no slice correction. Will a new sole and an extra six cubic centimeters make the X that much better than the Big Bertha ? I would definitely recommend this club to anyone due to its forgiveness in contact, ease and control of swing, and the overall feel of the driver when it makes contact on the ball.


The one thing I have consistantly heard about the X is it is loud and that is correct.

Callaway X460 Driver Review

He could not believe how long and straight it drives. Recommended to buy this club by my golf teacher. Club length is 45 inches. On an average day, I hit it around Performance Once I was able to teach my new dog how to sit at address, it really is a good club for the money.

So in my conclusion, X is not easy to use.
